SWISS ASSOCIATION FOR ADOLESCENT HEALTH
In 1991, the Swiss Association for Adolescent Health created the Montreux Prize, which is awarded during each IAAH World Congress to a young professional from a LMIC who has conducted an outstanding research or intervention. The amount of the Montreux Prize is US$1000. In addition, costs for travel (economy class), accommodation (middle class hotel), and registration fees for the World Congress are covered.
The selection of the recipient is based on the content of the abstract (only one per candidate) and is run by the members of the Committee of the Swiss Association for Adolescent Health. Any candidate can apply if the following criteria are met
- Age 40 years or younger
- Born in and working in a LMIC
- Has conducted innovative research and/or a preventive program targeting adolescent health in a LMIC.
Applicants willing to apply for ‘Montreux Prize’ should have their abstracts submitted online.
Besides submission of abstract, the candidate must email the following documents to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- a description of the research / program (2 pages) in English
- a list of publications
- a complete CV
- two accompanying letters of support from local agencies / academic institutions / government in the LMIC where the research or program was conducted
Deadline for submission of mandatory documents is August 31st 2017.
